The village sits at the foot of the dramatic South Downs in 7,000 acres of unspoilt countryside. With a range of unique settings, from a gamekeeper’s tower overlooking the park, to a 13th Century church and scenic village, there are many locations available.
Firle Place itself is available for photo shoots and film locations and also provides a wide range of settings. The many rooms of the house include atmospheric wine cellars, a Tudor Hall, a Palladian drawing room and a long gallery showcasing the family’s priceless art collection. The house has many exquisite bedrooms, one of which was slept in by Queen Victoria.
The grounds at Firle Place are home to the cobbled Georgian stables and riding school, a country cricket ground and pavilion, a picturesque lake and 150 acres of stunning parkland.
